When used weekly, this clay mask will lend to improved collagen production, a more refined skin tone and texture, improved moisture retention and a noticeable reduction in fine lines.

Clay Masks are generally amazing for exfoliating, skin nourishment and increasing circulation for better overall skin health and more even skin tone. Our Clay Masks come in powder form and one little jar will make 20-30 Clay Masks (depending on how much you use each time). The added benefit is that we do not have to add preservatives and the shelf life is exponentially longer than a pre-constituted wet mask (which often contain unsavory and/or skin-agitating preservatives).

WHO IS THIS PRODUCT FOR?

As a "universal" mask, our French Green Clay Mask is appropriate for all skin types and particularly beneficial for those with balanced but congested or combination skin.

INGREDIENT BENEFITS

French Green Clay - like a debris magnet, the ionic charge of this clay will attach itself to dead skin cells, toxins and acne-causing bacteria which are easily swept away when the mask is removed; deeply penetrating nutritive elements nourish the skin on a cellular level.

Bentonite Clay - a highly effective remover of toxins, heavy metals, chemicals and pore-clogging impurities. It has the ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. Upon contact with fluid its electrical components change, carrying a strong negative charge which bonds to the positive charge in many organic and inorganic toxins. Bentonite clay also contains high concentration of minerals including quartz, silica, calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron, and potassium which are integral to smooth, hydrated and healthy skin.

TO USE

Suggested use is 1-3 times per week or as much as every other day. Dry and sensitive skin types should be cautious not to overdo it. If you are undergoing an internal detox, be sure to drink an abundance of water to mitigate toxins being drawn through face or try a clay foot bath to draw toxins downward.

To make your mask, add 1 Tsp. of clay powder to appx. 1-2 T. of yogurt (non-dairy or organic grass-fed dairy is great) and honey (you may, of course, omit). Other liquid options we love are: Complexion Water, tea or water from herbal steam, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice for extra brightening effect.

Apply over face, neck, décolleté + upper back and shoulders if you experience back and shoulder blemishes.

Any unused mask may be kept refrigerated for up to 4 days.
